Ebook Design

Ebooks are often where you can have the most fun in the craft, and test visual language that's a risky direction for the brand. I can't resist a good ebook challenge.

The goal: To create a comprehensive buyers guide for exploring accessibility tools, costs associated, and a beginner’s guide to accessibility requirements. The accessibility space is often thought of as murky, unclear, and easily misinterpreted. We wanted to create an ephemeral and peaceful experience that showed the most important aspects of accessibility clearly and simply.

Chart "How businesses manage accessibility": 44% in-house, 36% hybrid, 9% external partners (2025 AudioEye Poll).
Graphic "44% of businesses manage accessibility entirely in-house; 64% of this group admit they lack internal expertise" above a stressed person at a laptop.
Graphic of ten business people, six highlighted: "Nearly 6 in 10 business leaders say their company would be at legal risk if audited today."

The Nature of Password Mastery

This ebook allowed myself and the writer to collaborate from the start of the process, which allowed for more creativity and coordinated metaphor within the “nature” of password mastery.

The goal: create a desire to push for a secure environment for password protection–starting with IT providers–to reduce vulnerabilities in company information security. To evoke a fearful, mysterious tone, we explored illustrations depicting hackers and cyber criminals as predators, to show the real risk companies face when they don’t secure their own workforce. I focused on more realistic animals, and included dark and light mode to convey mysterious environments.

A short ebook for Managed Service Providers and IT companies looking to transition to more sustainable, retainer-based methods of business vs the hectic break/fix service model. We wanted to convey a sense of fun, optimism, and delight, leading to designs focusing on a building metaphor, with friendly branded illustrations.

Three pages from the IT Glue ebook: "Planning the transition", "What is managed services?" and a conversation between two cartoon characters.
